On arrival in Jhansi proceed to Hotel. Visit Jhansi Fort. Then proceed to Orchha. Orchha (hidden place) is set among a wonderful complex of well-preserved palaces and temples. The main palaces were protected inside fortified walls on an island in the Betwa River. Night halt in Jhansi. (L/D)

After breakfast leave for Khajuraho. The temples of Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, Central India are one of India's major attractions. These temples were built by the Chandellas, a dynasty which survived for five centuries before falling to the onslaught of Islam. Almost all Khajuraho's temples record a century long burst of creative genius from 950-1050 A.D. Visit Southern group temples. Night halt. (B/L/D)

After breakfast visit Bhedaghat. Soaring in glittering splendour, the Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on either side of the Narmada. The serene loveliness of the scene is one of cool quiet, the sunlight sparkling on the marble-white pinnacles and casting dappled shadows on the pellucid waters.
