Arrive Guwahati

All tour guests will arrive at Guwahati Airport as per scheduled Flight. Upon arrival you will meet Girikand Tour Manager at the Airport and proceed to the Hotel (Recommended arrival in Guwahati City is before 1700 hrs). Guwahati - the largest city of Assam, situated on the South bank of the Brahmaputra River. This city is the gateway to the enchanting Northeast India and a centre of socio-cultural, industrial, trade and commerce activities of the entire region. Overnight stay at Guwahati. (HT, Dinner)

Guwahati – Kaziranga

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the Kaziranga, UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kaziranga National Park - which is home to two-thirds of the world's population of the rare one-horned Rhinoceros. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Kaziranga

Today morning, enjoy Jungle Safari, at Kaziranga National Park. After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Tea Gardens. Evening visit Orchid Park, which houses not only an orchid house with over 600 species from Northeast India, but also bamboo and medicinal herb gardens, a cactus house, and a handicrafts museum. Evening enjoy Bihu Dance performance. Overnight stay at Kaziranga. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Kaziranga – Shillong

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Later check out from the hotel and proceed to Shillong, a hill station and the capital of Meghalaya which is known as 'Scotland of the East'. Shillong has a westernized culture and it has a very young feel to it. En-route visit Umiam Lake, one of the biggest artificial lakes in Meghalaya. On arrival visit Don Bosco Museum, which provides a glimpse of the life, culture and history of Northeast India. Its building is seven storeys high, with each level representing one of the seven sister states of the Northeast. Overnight stay at Shillong. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Shillong - Cherrapunji – Shillong

Have breakfast and proceed to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. En-route visit the famous Elephanta Falls, a stunning waterfall located in the outskirts of Shillong. On arrival visit Nohkalikai Falls, cascading down from the top of the gorge to the mystic deep green pool below, Mawsmai Caves, magnificent caves formed out of limestone. Return back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong – Shillong

Today after breakfast, proceed to the border town of Dawki. On arrival enjoy boating at the Umngot River, known for its crystal clear waters and also visit the Bangladesh Border. Later proceed to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, which is locally referred to as 'God's Own Garden'. On arrival visit Living Root Bridge, made of tangles of massively thick roots. Later visit Balancing Rock. Return back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Shillong – Guwahati

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Guwahati. On arrival in Guwahati leave for local sightseeing, visit Kamakhya Temple, situated on the top of Nilachal Hill, by the banks of the Brahmaputra River, the majestic Kamakhya Temple is an iconic landmark in Guwahati, Umanand Temple- a Shiva Temple situated on Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Later enjoy Brahmaputra River Cruise, in the mighty Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at Guwahati. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Guwahati – Departure

After breakfast check out from the hotel. All tour guests will proceed to Guwahati airport and start the return journey to your hometown. Tour concludes at 1200 hrs in Guwahati. (Breakfast)
