It is a deep gorge lined by gigantic mountains of marble carved by the Narmada River that flows through. On arrive in Jabalpur we visit Dhuandhar Waterfall; Also known as Smoke cascade, located at Bhedaghat 30 km before from Jabalpur. The Narmada River, making its way through the world-famous Marble Rocks, narrows down and then plunges into a waterfall known as Dhuandhar. The plunge, which creates a bouncing mass of mist, is so powerful that its roar can be heard from a far distance. 'Dhuan' means smoke. Tripur Sundar Temple; also known as Rajarajeshwari, Shodashi, Kamakshi, and Lalita is a Hindu goddess and she is worshipped as a principal aspect of supreme goddess Mahadevi mainly venerated in Shaktism, the goddess-oriented sect of Hinduism. Madan Mahal fort; stands as testimony to the lives of the rulers who ruled Jabalpur for a good number of years in the 11th century AD. Situated at a hilltop, a couple of kilometres away from the city, Madan Mahal Fort was built by the Raja Madan Singh. Gwari Ghat. Later proceed to Jabalpur. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit The Virateshwar Temple; Of Lord Shiv in Sohagpur is the most important tourist destination of Shahdol and a structural masterpiece. This Temple was built by the Kalchuri ruler, Maharaja Yuvraj between 950 CE and 1050 CE. This was built as a present for the Acharya (saint) of Golkaki Math. These 70 feet tall Temple is one of the most famous architectures of the Kalchuri Age. The Temple is under the preservation of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Overnight stay at Shahdol. We visit Kapildhara waterfalls; It gets its name from famous sage Kapila, Founder of the Samkhya school of Hindu philosophy. This waterfall is built on the river Narmada. This is the first waterfall on the river Narmada. Later we visit the Narmada Udgam Temple; Narmada Udgam Kund (birth place of Narmada) was built by Rewa Nayak. After so many years, Bhonsle, the king of Nagpur gave the shape to Narmada Mandir; later Maharani Devi Ahilya renovated this Temple. Morning breakfast at hotel, after breakfast check out from hotel & proceed to Mandla; En-route we visit Mai ki Bagiya Temple; it is a natural grove of trees dedicated to the Goddess Narmada and covers the surrounding forests. The garden has mango trees, banana trees, and other fruit trees along with Gulbakavli, roses, and other flowering plants. The garden also has a small Temple dedicated to Goddess Narmada and a pond known as Charanodak Kund. There is a belief that this place is the real origin of Narmada. The water stream that came out in Mai's garden has gone ahead and has come out in the present Narmada origin Temple.  Later proceed to Mandla, on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Mandla. On the one hour drive the driver will drop you at the Vamalwshwar boating point. Later we will catch the boat to reach Mithitalai. The driver will lead you to Mithitalai and pick you up on the other side. Later you will stop at Nareshwar Dham. Here is a Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
